Wagic is a game that allows you to play "Magic the Gathering" against an AI opponent.

Release notes:
I’m happy to say that version 0.2.1 is now available for download. Thanks to all the beta testers who helped (a lot !) in finding bugs and (hopefully) making this release even better than version 0.2.0. I’ll try to release the sources later this weekend (gotta go to a party right now and I’m already late…)

There is quite an amount of changes in this new release, as you can see below. Overall the game should be more stable, as lots of memory leaks have been solved, and some critical bugs have been corrected. I was also expecting it to be faster, but unfortunately some of the features and checks that have been added add some slowness when there are a lot of cards on the screen. Hopefully I’ll find a way to solve that in next release.

smkd is working on a "Thrust Inspired Game" for the NES. However here are the latest news along with a new binary:

Quote:
thanks.

I've had the ambigous front end pointed out before, where the guy suggested that the tip be colored differently. I passed on it, but that idea of making the base of it thicker does a great job I think. I updated the chr in my rom with that.

I've darkened the terrain since that seems to make the flicker not so apparent, but is it too dark? It's not something I paid much attention to, but the issue is there.

http://smkdan.eludevisibility.org/other/rom.zip

As far as names go, I am thinking a cheap acronym; STING:

Somewhat
Thrust
Inspried
NES
Game

I'll just call it that if I don't think of anything else.

Thanks to Another World of http://www.gbatemp.net for the news (yes, they do have commercial ROM presentations, but no downloads, so it's hopefully fine to link to the news provider).
