Mancala is a board game familly, originated in East Africa. The word "Mancala" came from arabic word "naqalah" that means literaly "To move".

Dingux-Mancala is the "Awari" variant, and even if the rule of this game is simple, the complexity can be compared to a chess game.

The AI is based on the source code of H. Huseby & G.T. Lines, for their implementation of the classical Minimax algorithm.

The Giana's Return Team posted progress about the recent Dingux port attempt.

Quote:
Slaanesh has been helping out porting Giana's Return to Dingoo Linux (Dingux). The port is suffering from "segment faults" once you jump into a bonus cave. Today we probably have tracked down this bug, but we still need to fix and test things. If this was indeed the problem, a Dingux version could appear the next three weeks.

POWDER is a roguelike game, which is not a port of an existing roguelike. It is built around replayability and long term ergonomics, not short term learning. Author of this piece of software is Jeff Lait.

zear updated ParkyDR's port for GP2x, which should now be in equal state to the latest official build 112.

Changes:
Your tame creatures now have a heart badge beside them to identify them as such.
Switching to a different tile res will no longer cause a crash. (Inu)
Building the tile choice list now comes from the internal allbitmaps.h rather than being hardcoded, so Ibson the Grey's tiles will show up as expected. (Inu)
Entering a level with active lava/water from a level which has no active lava/water, when the new level is already created and previously visited this game, will no longer stop the updating of said lava and water. (Nathan Bogue)
Hopefully backspace will work on OSX. (Nathan Bogue)
Jumping in space prohibited if you lack spacewalk. (Nathan Bogue)
Jumping when buried prohibited. (Nathan Bogue)
Kobold thieves are pluralized properly. (Nathan Bogue)
Living frosts are now bloodless. (Nathan Bogue)
Digging upwards on special levels has more sensible results. (Nathan Bogue)
Remove the console window on Windows.
Shattered trees will drop their occupants. (Nathan Bogue)
Items that fall down holes will no longer be mapped. (patch by Richard Quirk)
PSP Makefile should be happier with newer devkits. (patch by Joe Buck)
Left and Right on menus will scroll fast, just like L and R do, but this also applies to the command menu where L and R are the quick bind keys. (patch by Joe Buck)
[SDL] Shift-arrow will swap with a critter, Alt-arrow will jump. (patch by Andreas Bohm)
ctype.h is included in map2c.cpp now. (Ben Hjelt)
New tileset from Chris Lomaka.
One new room.
Load game shows up first in the menu if it is available to make it harder to accidentally choose new game. (Enrique Garcia Cota)

While the highscore is kept, save games are never preserved between versions. Please wait until your current character dies before upgrading.

Railroad Rampage is a cross between an arcade game and a strategy game. It is similiar in construction to many "Tower Defence" games, but it has a twist : here, you are part of the action and can affect the game in many different ways more than just building structures. Bandits are trying to rob your train and steal all precious cargo! Thankfully, you are a skilled engineer who can construct many different kinds of turrets and use them to defend your train. You have to make it through 20 waves of relentless enemy assault before you reach your destination, so plan ahead and devise a smart strategy and you may survive!

Changes:
* Lots of balance fixes.
* Many speed improvements for the Wiz version.
* Income now changes depending on difficulty-level.
* Some new and improved graphics here and there.
* One new upgrade.
* A pause function.
* A few smaller bug fixes and enhancements.

SameGoo is a game of the SameGame concept. The goal is to get a high score. Selecting an object will clear that object and all connected objects of the same color. You cannot clear a single object, it must be connected to at least one other. If a gap occurs between columns of objects, then the right-most ones will be moved left.

Version 1.1 brings sound, music, new animations & a built in OGG-Player!
