Dear visitors,
I am still on vacation and this wont change for the next month. Ocassionally I try to support kedo with his effort to keep PDRoms running while gone.
You may have recognized, that there was no additional support for about two weeks, this was due to catching Malaria. I am on the way back to normal and recover pretty fast.
Damn those parasistes and back to newsing :)
Regards
Kojote

Brakken ( http://www.tehskeen.com ) speaks out about (homebrew)scene issues once again.
Content:
Someone tried to take the blogcast down severall times, so far it only survived on the Eurasia servers, which unfortunatly requires registration.
Brakkens Blogcast only represents Brakken's views. The only thing we have listen to and agree with is the critism about DCemu, but would have probably choosen different words :) For the rest of the content we can't say or confirm anything.
Content:
Description:
7zip archive includes a MP3 file. Quote Brakken: It's that time again! Blogcast #3 has been released. In this cast I cover lame kids these days and their so called "gamer" tag, Wraggster's stupidity, GBATEMP morons and the Nintendo Wii Backup Loader. Get r' Downloaded!

Dr. Hirudo, a homebrew coder from Bulgaria, who was previously hosted at PDroms, bought his own webspace and domain. If you have time, make sure to visit ihm on his very own place now :)
Good Luck, Ventzislav!
PS: http://drhirudo.pdroms.de will act as redirector in the future and will remain there.

Create a Nintendo DS or GBA game with a holiday theme. Be it Wack-a-Santa or nuclear snowball fights with diminutive elves we want to see your wintery creations.

Flashcards and loaders are bad? Does it cause the homebrew scene go RIP?
Follow the link if you want one more episode of how Wraggster/DCemu tries to manipulate and discredit!
This is sort of amusing... someone who is sitting in a house made of glas, should not throw with stones.

Note quite sure in which context wraggster wrote an "hombrew judging" article out of the box, but it's quite interesting and reflects some specific problems, if you have to handle competitions.
You may check the article by following the link below.

In most parts of the world you would say "One man, one word".
Unfortunatly this does not apply to Wraggster of DCemu, a page which is well known, so it does not need more hotlinking...
Let me quote something Wraggster wrote on GBAtemp ( http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=104191 ):
Quote from Wraggster:
I and many other homebrew fans out there wonder, why Wraggster still did not mention Brakken's ongoing Wii Coding Competition (located here: http://www.tehskeen.com/contests/tswcc/contest.php?page=about ) on DCemu"s main page.
Is it just because he points out true things in the public, about Wraggster and DCemu, such as I did in the past?

Congrats Costello on a great comp, any comp for the Homebrew community is always a great event and getting backing of multi national sites is great too, i speak for the rest of the staff at DCEmu and say we support 100% these comps (i dont do comps, too much bloody hassle ;)

Dear visitors,
once in a while even a Kojote deserves vacation. I am heading off to Asia for a few weeks and definitely try to keep my online time as low as possible (56k dial-up ain't fun anyway if you are used to 4mbit minimum).
KEDO ( http://www.planetkedo.de ) will take over the news. I am not quite sure how much and how regular he will post so let's hope for the best. In the last few days he showed great support, I consider this a good sign ;)
Heading off for the airport in less than 30 hours, many things to arrange, many things to fix - usual headache.
Have a nice day all!

Our collegues at TehSkeen solved their server issues. The page is noticeable faster and it's a pleasure again to surf there.

TehSkeen is known for console modification and homebrew news, which makes it an interesting addition to everyone's bookmarks.

After the open thievery critism from brakken/tehskeen.com ( http://www.brakken.net/comments.php?mid=c5e03cb34ba0f42fae943d98f ) and myself ( http://www.pdroms.de/news/11068/ ) Wraggster of DCemu ( http://www.dcemu.co.uk ) tried to turn the wheel.
Quote from Wraggster:
http://www.brakken.net/offsite/sourcing.jpg
Well... which might this "mysterious" page be? Is it PDRoms or is it TehSkeen? Anyway...
Brakken replied and everyone who thinks there is nothing like "scene politics" is probably wrong.
Here comes another gossip of "DCEmu Sourcing Issues"... follow the link for more!

Dear visitors,
Once in a while there is a reason to be proud. Why so you may ask? During the month of July 2008 we have beaten the news record from January 2008. In total we served you with 640 news items, which makes an average of 20 news per day.
As some of you may have recognized “Kedo” is getting more active recently. He is warming up for his “takeover” as I (Kojote) will be on vacation for almost three months. I will be without internet most of the time and I hardly think that I have the nerves to use a 56k dial-up line combined with regular power outages. Anyway, Kedo will try his best to keep PDRoms running, while Celeth will try to improve and polish PDRoms codewise – a couple of new features can be expected.
Please give those both guys a helping hand and already a big thank you in advance from my side. I am sure it will be a though job to get a more or less decent rhythm.
Also a big thanks goes to YOU for visiting and reading the crap we write ;)
Have a nice day all!
